CASA AMARILLA
The House Amarilla is located in San Siro,
a town wich is 4 km.
away from Menaggio,
central area of Lake Como.
Viewed from the lake, San Siro look like one big town, wich is not.
Only 1.500 residents lives in the 17 hamlets climbing
the beautifully green and sunny mountains.
A blooming vegetation cover most of the area and hosts various
species of trees. In each and every hamlet visitors may enjoy
picturesque spots with fountains, chapels, small churches, bridges,
archways alternated with breahttaking views
In the picturesque Mastena wich is only 400 mts. away from the beach,
just few minutes away from the lake area San Siro is CASA AMARILLA,
close to the garden of Villa Camilla and historical XVI century summer
Palazzo of noble family "Della Torre Rezzonico"
The house is situated in a pedestrian area which is means absolutely quiete and superb lake view . ( car parking is 200 mts. away )
CASA AMARILLA is a property that belong to our family since ever ( .... that's why this name , this was also " home land " of spanish during their domination of about 200 years ! ) Generations of peasants, silk workers and fishermen has spent their life here
The main entrance is on the ancient " Strada Regina " the cobbled path that connected the eastern swiss mountain passes with Lake Como and Milan . .. since centuries the path is still here and today if you follow it , in a few minutes you will be at the lakeside hamlet which is Santa Maria ( where you can visit the old dominican church of XVI century and old roman harbour walls , you can also continue to the other lakeside hamlet wich is Rezzonico , still very well preserved ( castle Della Torre Rezzonico )
The " sophisticate " Menaggio is only few minutes by car away and here the " movida " will wait you with boutiques, Cafès, fancies restaurants,Golf Course, Lido beach but also concerts and events
In the peaceful San Siro you will find as well a Cafè , a Newsagent, a bank, a chemist and very close to the AMARILLA HOUSE a baker and Food shop.

Apartments AZALEA and BOUGANVILLE are connected
it's possible to rent both and compose
1 large apartment on 2 floors up to 10/11 persons
ideal for 2 large families or group of friends.
The apartments DALIA and ERICA
are connected by the same house landing close by a door,
it's also possible to rent the 2 apts.for a large family
that need the own spaces, this solution is perfect for couples
that has teenagers or grandparents travelling togheter.
