The main entrance is on the ancient " Strada Regina " the cobbled path that connected the eastern swiss mountain passes with Lake Como and Milan . .. since centuries the path is still here and today if you follow it , in a few minutes you will be at the lakeside hamlet which is Santa Maria ( where you can visit the old dominican church of XVI century and old roman harbour walls , you can also continue to the other lakeside hamlet wich is Rezzonico , still very well preserved ( castle Della Torre Rezzonico )
The " sophisticate " Menaggio is only few minutes by car away and here the " movida " will wait you with boutiques, Cafès, fancies restaurants,Golf Course, Lido beach but also concerts and events
